Pricing:
All items listed on the General Store Galaxy site include shipping costs to the lower 48 states. Some item are available to be shipped to Alaska and Hawaii. If international shipping is available it will be noted in the Shipping and Payment Information section. We will provide a quote before ordering. Use a Contact Form. (opens in a new window)
Each supplier's information concerning their refund policy is included in the Include the Information section. Policies will vary from supplier to supplier.
Shipping:
We do not ship to P.O. Boxes. Phone numbers are required on all orders shipped by freight. It is always advisable to provide a phone number with your order.
Insurance is provided for most of our orders. When there is an exception it will be noted in the Shipping and Handling section at the end of the listing and in the description.
We prefer to ship to confirmed Pay Pal addresses. When requesting to have an item shipped to an address other than yours we will verify that address with you by e-mail and or phone prior to shipping.
The probable carriers for your items are included in the listings. Carriers are subject to change with out notice.
Shipping notification times are meant to be conservative and may be in the item listing.
Our items ship to the continental United States. If shipping is available to Alaska, Hawaii or other US territories the item listing will note this. There will be an additional charge. Please request a quote before ordering.
Expedited delivery options are not available.
Discontinued and Backordered Items
There is always a chance that an item may be sold out. If this should happen, your payment will be refunded.
Merchandise listed in New Boston Furniture -General Store- is merchandise that is generally in stock or that is currently produceable.
Items that are reordered on a regular basis may not be pulled from store listings. On occasion there may be a two to three week backorder. You will be notified as soon as possible if this is the case. It may take another week to verify an anticipated delivery date. You have the option of canceling and receiving a full refund at any time prior to shipment.
We check supplier listings monthly at a minimum and weekly on lines that we consider volatile. Strange things have been know to happen though. Situations have occurred where either New Boston Furniture, or a suppliers information was lost, inaccurate or unavailable. Should you order a store item that has been discontinued and is no longer available you will be refunded promptly.
Made to order items will be clearly noted in the listing. An approximate fabrication time will be provided and you will be contacted when the item is ready to ship.
Returns:
Refused shipments will incur shipping and restocking fees. The available balance will be refunded approximately two weeks after warehouse has received merchandise.
Damage to any shipment should be reported or recorded with the shipper before contacting New Boston Furniture.
One way or another you will be compensated for any damaged shipments.
Returns of non damaged items will be handled on an individual item basis. Do not return any item without first contacting New Boston Furniture.
Listings may provide information such as restocking fees, time limits and other specifics concerning returns.
Personal care, bedding and bath items should be considered non returnable. Contact New Boston Furniture if there are any extenuating circumstances.
Checkout Option:
General Store Galaxy aka (New Boston Furniture) currently only offers Paypal processing through our partner Amelia Lintner. To make a Paypal payment for more than one item you must request an invoice using a Contact Form.
Money orders, bank transfers and checks are other acceptable means of ordering. Providing product information on a Contact Form will allow us to quote and/or Invoice you after you visit our distributors in the General Store.
Affiliates can be accessed through the Trading Post and banners. They provide their own check out options.
Other Conditions:
Measurements should be assumed to be approximates.
In the General Store we provide links to many of our suppliers sites. By providing us with descriptions and item numbers we can quote or invoice you on a most of the products on their sites. Some distributors show greatly inflated prices and some provide prices similar to what we are able to quote. (Let us know if our quote is higher.)
Privacy Policies.
General Store Galaxy, it's principals and d.b.a.'s will keep your information confidential and not use it other than to contact you concerning business or an occasional request to sign up for a newsletter. To my knowledge I do not collect cookies, and if I did I'd have no knowledge of how to use them.
General Store Galaxy provides many opportunities to visit other sites. I have screened out a lot of questionable sites. It is your responsibility to familiarize yourself with the policies of any site that you visit.
